Taylor Terry is an educator and school leader with more than 12 years of experience helping students achieve at higher levels. His career spans classroom teaching, curriculum development, advanced coursework, instructional coaching, and more than five years in educational administration. As a teacher and instructional leader, Taylor has worked across subjects and grade levels with a particular focus on turning academic potential into measurable results. As a Geometry teacher, his students produced approximately five percentage points of growth in mathematics.

Later, while serving as an instructional leader at KIPP in St. Louis, he helped lead literacy work that contributed to more than 10 percentage points of growth in reading. Taylor has also worked extensively with advanced coursework. He helped pilot AP African American Studies and contributed to curriculum development during the course's early implementation. As a College Board Reader, Taylor has evaluated AP student work using College Board scoring standards—experience that gives him a detailed understanding of academic rigor, scoring rubrics, and the expectations students encounter as they move toward college-level work.

That experience became the foundation for Top Tier Scholar Systems. Taylor created Top Tier for students who are capable of doing excellent work but need stronger systems around them.
